TIME FOR TEA MAGAZINE

Well, I am finalising the next issue for the Time For Tea magazine with a slightly better presentation which  I am sure will be well received from the  readers.

I re-visited Miss Mollett’s High Class Tea Room in Appledore, Kent yesterday (7th Sept 2011) an enjoyed tea and scones before heading for my karate class in Ashford, Kent. I really do enjoy my visits to this quaint little tea room in a quaint English village.

Apparently, according to the head waitress at Miss Mollett’s, a famous couple visited their tea room recently following their visit to Joe Ellis’ tea room guide website and enjoyed their lunch and visit. I am so pleased that the website is now used as an effective tool for locating those lovely English tea rooms.

GETTING BACK TO NORMAL…!

Well, I am now trying to get back to normal following a busy year, a major car accident and pressure of work!

My last posting on the old blog was made on the 02 June 2011 and I have not posted one since…shame on me, but I promise to do this more often, now that a new blog design has been made live.

I am now visiting lots more tea rooms in order to get as much material for the first tea room guide book. When my father died, this did put me back some time but now on track.

I am sad to see so many English tea rooms closing down and sold to take-a-way food shops and other forms of outlets. We need to keep the English tea room industry, an English institution, alive, hence my website and tea room magazine.

I am off to visit some more tea rooms and hope that some of you get involved with this blog.

Before I forget, I am also working on the next issue of the Time For Tea magazine.
